Hello all,

Please join me in welcoming Chris to our simm.

Chris will be playing Aubrey Fitzgerald, our new Chief of Operations.

So all those niggling maintenance problems you've been complaining about? Give them over to Fitzgerald...then go out and break a few more things - we wouldn't want her to be bored, no would we?

Hello everyone,

I think I have been lax in my duties here!

Please join me in welcoming our newest player, George!

He'll be playing LTjg Kyle McHale, our new Chief of Security/Tactical.

At the moment, I've added him to our ongoing JP just to get the character introduced (while I'm working to have Stone removed from this ship at the end of this mission) and after that we'll be putting him into his full duties as our CSTO.

So welcome him with lots and lots of JPs and make him not regret joining our bedlam!

I'm pleased to report that the Arctic was chosen as the TG's Bronze Unit of Merit for February.

The announcement just came out today.

This is our second bronze, we also have a silver and a gold - all since November.

You guys totally rock!

Its official for the November numbers we have earned the Gold unit of merit.

I'm impressed at this, I'm happy with the idea what a group can do when there is a mutual goal. This is my second Gold award, and the first in four years, but this one is worth it.

Anyone wanna go for another?

Hello Crew of the Arctic,

Just got word on the November UoM awards.

As you may remember, we won a bronze UoM for our task group for December due to all the great work you guys have been doing.

I'm happy to announce that for November, our little simm, in one of it's darkest times, received the SILVER UoM!!

That's a big deal because that's the top unit for the Task Force and comes from all the simms in the task force.

It's also the way to get nominated for the Gold UoM award. The Gold is for THE simm of the month. There is only ONE Gold per month. Also, to get Gold UoM means you're in competition for Simm of the Year.

Why do I ramble about all this?

Because I'm ECSTATIC to announce that the USS Arctic is the GOLD UNIT OF MERIT for November! GOLD!!! GOLD!!!

That's top of the podium! That's like...well...like the best!

And to have received that during a time when the CO had abandoned the simm and left it up to the crew to just carry on actually means more to me because it shows what determination and perseverance as a crew can get us!

GOLD!!!

Congratulations to all of you because that award comes only because of what all of you have done!

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to spend the rest of the day singing "Everything is Awesome!"
