Welcome to the USS Arctic!

...if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.

Space...vast, cold, endless. Inhospitable to most life. A test of the mettle and determination of those who dare it.

The Terran arctic is a a frozen, inhospitable tundra designed to test the mettle of anyone that dares it.

The Arctic is the master class for those who dare the challenge of staring down the abyss. But remember to take care that in preparing to fight monsters you do not become a monster yourself.

The USS Arctic is a PG13 rated Star Trek simulation game. Click here to join the Arctic!

Posted on Fri May 16th, 2014 @ 5:22am by Captain Ian Roberts in Sim Announcement

Hello all,

First - the bad:

Due to some major differences that have arisen between Wallace's player and myself, I have accepted his resignation from the simm.

Now the good:

We have a new player! Please help me welcome Cassa, who will be playing a rather interesting character as our infiltration specialist! Please help me in welcoming her with JPs!

I look forward to getting to know the character through IC interactions and I hope will be the same for the rest of the crew!

We are currently on a 'shore leave' interlude while I work to get the new mission set up and put in. Hopefully that won't take too long but I want to have the crew enjoy some down time on Earth - though there will be JPs with people and myself during that time.

We have been officially unlisted from obsidian fleet. I'm unsure of what you all feel about the whole Independence matter, but this does represent opportunity for us to move beyond the confines of the rigid system that lead to out exit. Many of you are clearly creative writers, well, this is your chance to go beyond that, whose in?

Hey All,

As I mentioned in an earlier post, some things were happening that may cause a decision to leave Obsidian Fleet.

That event has come to pass. As of yesterday afternoon, I informed Obsidian Fleet that this simm was no longer connected with Obsidian Fleet.

We are no on our own.

Those who wish to leave this simm to have their characters remain with Obsidian Fleet are welcome to do so - though I would point out that you don't have to remove your character from this simm to play them in Obsidian Fleet anymore, since this simm is no longer in Obsidian Fleet.

Otherwise, I intend to keep this simm rolling along as it has been since I took over as CO. Even more so now that we have a bit more freedom to run it our way.

Questions, comments, concerns or (hopefully not) resignations should be PM'd to me.

The only good point about joining new crew was new quarters. Not always fun when paired with annoying roommates but things could be worse. Serena rang the chime of the chief operations officer's office doorway quietly hoping to not get paired up with a packrat type roommate.
